The Disco Exorcist will be premiering at the Cable Car Cinema and Cafe on February 12th at 11pm. Tickets will be $9.00 at the door. Cable Car Cinema & Cafe is located at 204 South Main Street in Providence, RI.
The Disco Exorcist is directed by Richard Griffin, produced by Ted Marr, written by Tony Nunes and lensed by Jill Poisson. The film is “a blood-soaked tale of revenge, sex, black magic, disco dancing, and mountains of cocaine.” If you’re a fan of Disco, the ’70’s, and exploitation films, this movie is for you. Shot on Super 8 film, this flick has all the scratches, pops, and blood-filled blisters loved by all Grindhouse enthusiasts. This is Griffin’s 2nd entry into religious send-ups after his tongue-in-cheek nun-ploitation film Nun Of That produced by Marr.
