The 2010 Horror Society Film Festival is Calling for Entries!

Attention Film Makers and Horror Fans! The 2010 Horror Society Film Festival is officially issuing a Call for Entries.

Since October 2008, Horror Society has been hearing the blood curdling cry of horror fans carried across the Windy City and they have answered the call. Offering a showcase of independent film screenings coupled with unique vendors, and special guests, this event has helped celebrate Women in Horror and other themes through their screenings.

This year the Horror Society has something extra sinister planned. It’s a 2 day blood covered horror movie bonanza on October 23rd & 24th, featuring new independant horror films from around the country as well as an opportunity to celebrate some cult classics with those as demented as yourself. The festival is screening a 35mm print of DEMONS to celebrate it’s 25th anniversary! Also gracing the Land of Lincoln is SLIME CITY and SLIME CITY MASSACRE! It’s a first time double feature that will ooze right off the screen all happening at the illustrious Portage Theater in Chicago, Illinois. Be sure to check back as more films will be announced to their line-up with a plethora of special guests and filmmakers in attendance.
