Who’s your favorite disc jockey in the annals of horror history? Is it DJ Vanita “Stretch” Brock… just Stretch to her listeners from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2? It’s probably a good bet that she is your fav. Wonder if she and “Bubba” ever did tie the knot after Lefty got a hold of the Family. I digress…
There’s a new DJ in town, DJ Raven… well new as in second season new. The Dead Hour is a web series based around the horrific tales that DJ Raven recants over the air to her listeners and invokes hit horror anthologies the Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. The second season premiers in mid-October and features nine webisodes as of today nearly doubling that of season one. Season 2 kicks off with Fright Fest:
Frankie’s first date with Finch is a real snoozer. An all-night horror movie marathon is not her idea of fun. But when the horrors on the screen begin to cross into the real world, Finch may have to be her knight in shining armor after all.
I’ve gotta say that this sounds like a horror based episode of Amazing Stories, and I can’t wait to see how this new season evolves. Stop by the Dead Hour’s web site The Dead Hour, Season 2 and see what DJ Raven has in store for you.
To follow The Dead Hour, stop by and “Like” its Facebook page HERE. Magnum Motion Pictures, DJ Raven and Omaha Nebraska (where the series is filmed) will thank you…. Stretch too.
