Morbid Movies Teaser Released: UNMIMELY DEMISE

Mimes in horror… I don’t think we see nearly enough mimes in our blessed genre.  I suppose mimes are second cousin to the clowns. After all, one makes you laugh with goofy trick and typically an obnoxious voice. The other, does the same mute; of course the mime does attempt to inspire quite a few other emotions as well so is the mime a more evolved clown? If so, wouldn’t that make mimes the more appropriate choice for our beloved horror films. We’ll let Marcel Marceau take it up with John Wayne Gacy in a game of Hollywood Squares, but now we have a new horror anthology on our door step. MORBID MOVIES!!!

From the people at Psykick Junky who brought you My Pure Joy comes this first installment of a four part, horrific journey. This first installment appears to be about a maniacal killer who is… as previously alluded to, a mime entitled Unmimely Demise (this kind of pun-ery is the handwork of horror hosts to be certain). The quiet killer makes short work of several victims with buckets o’ blood a pouring.

While the release date appears to be still tentative and we have limited casting info it is certain that 19 year old, James Cullen Bressack, writer, director, producer of several independent works will  bring his “gore is more” philosophy to the table. We will await further release notes and keep you posted.

Dr. Jimmy Terror, more commonly known as James P. Harris, has been “writing your eyes” shut since 2010 with his horror themed blog Dr. Terror’s Blog of Horrors (whose name is a play on words derived from the Amicus film, Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors). In the early 2000’s he fronted the band The Vaudeville Vampires, a short-lived Horrorabilly band which saw the creation of a catalog of horror related songs before disbanding (with only one, six song demo ever being produced and distributed). He has had only one on screen appearance to date in the horror/suspense short, Ocean Parkway, as maniacal, gloved killer with a hair fetish. Having done some un-credited, behind the scenes work in some low budget genre pictures, he is currently working on his first foray into screenwriting with a demonic, retro gore entry that pays homage to Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento as well as other Italian masters of the genre.
