Little Arts Theatre in Yellow Springs, Ohio needs our help: A Call To Arms!!!

Hey gang, I was just checking my e-mail and came across a this… It’s something I attended last year and wrote about, I had a great time and it’s something I encourage others to partake in. (I’m actually looking forward to attending this years as well) Check out the sites listed below for further details… And remember, it’s us the fans, that keep things like this alive.

“Hello, everyone…

Since 2007, we at the Little Art have hosted a horror movie marathon each October. The marathon has featured at least seven feature-length films annually, in addition to dozens of classic trailers, a costume contest, concessions, and more.

We need your help. We’re using Kickstarter to raise the money for this year’s marathon. We need to reach our minimum goal by June 21, 2011, or this year’s marathon will be canceled. Please visit to make a pledge. If we do not reach our goal in time, your money will not be collected.

We want this event to survive. We have a ton of fun putting it on, and we always get great feedback from our audience, who have come to look forward to the event each year. Yet each fall it becomes more and more difficult to plan the event with little feel for how it will perform, and weighing the very real risk that the event will lose money. It’s always a struggle to break even while still putting on a worthwhile event.

We hope that with your help, we will not just meet our goal, but exceed it. Our dream is to make this year’s marathon the best yet. Please make a pledge, forward this email to your friends, and use the tools at the top of the marathon website to share the news on Facebook or Twitter.
