Author Seth Grahame-Smith’s latest novel “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” will be getting the big screen treatment. Grahame-Smith’s previous novel “Pride And Prejudice And Zombies”, a remix of Jane Austin’s classic novel, is already being adapted by Lionsgate with actress/producer Natalie Portman set to produce and possibly direct.
Directors Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland) and Timor Bekmambetov (WANTED) are looking to produce this film, though neither has any plans to direct. One of the items that peaked their interest in the project is a teaser trailer for the novel (click the image below) that was created by Grand Central publishing.
Though the film has yet to find a home, Burton and Bekmambetov are hoping that will change soon.
