This is a list of things I’ve often done or thought over the years (some I still do) in the simplest of moments that remind me, horror is a bigger part of my life than I sometimes realize.
10: Even though I’m making myself some vegetarian chili, I still know there’s “No secret, it’s the meat. Don’t skimp on the meat. I’ve got a real good eye for prime meat. Runs in the family..”

9: (Thanks to both TCM / TCM2) Every time I see a chainsaw, I either want to dance around with it flailing madly over my head or pelvic thrust it into a large container of ice.

8: Splinters, no matter how big or small… Always remind of Zombi 2.
7: When driving in unfamiliar territory, the same line pops up in my head over and over… “You don’t wanna go down that road.”

6: Upon meeting someones child that creeps me out, I start thinking of a brick wall.

5: The machete I found in the garage when I was younger meant I was Jason Vorhees, not an explorer on safari.

4: When stuck watching a crappy movie, my thoughts often turn to imagining Victor Crowley springing out of nowhere and “pop topping” whoever the annoying main character is.

3: This man
scared me more than this man
2: For our honeymoon, my wife and I went on a cruise to the Caribbean. While we were there, on three separate occasions, we found ourselves in our cabin watching The Shining. Then I bought the book to read on the flight home.

1: When walking down a hallway, narrow walkway, pretty much anywhere I can walk with my hands out stretched and am able to touch both walls, I like to pretend I’m Freddy in the alley from Tina’s dream.

This was fantastic…i could really identify with it
especially the creepy children and the brick wall LOL
Great reasons! I tend to act like I’m Freddy too when I walk down a narrow hallway.
I act like Freddy when walking down a hallway as well. Also more scared of Fallwell… Pinhead vs. Fallwell?
