Festival favorite We Go On is coming to home video!

It was a huge hit with festival audiences, and now, We Go On, from YellowBrickRoad creators Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton, is coming to home video! It’ll be on Blu-Ray and DVD on April 4th from Lightyear Entertainment through Momentum Pictures/Sony Home Entertainment. Take a look at the trailer:

Here’s the synopsis:

00 Trailer - 13 - JBH - 072515 (0.01.02.22)Paralyzed by his fear of dying, Miles Grissom (Clark Freeman) offers a cash reward to the first person who can show him a ghost, an angel, a demon – anything that can prove that we go on after our deaths. He narrows the responses down to three viable candidates – a scientist, a medium, and a worldly entrepreneur.  Along with his fiercely protective mother (Annette O’Toole), he embarks on an adventure that will spiral into an unthinkable nightmare.

This looks terrific, and critics agree. Fangoria called it “legitimately scary and unpredictable” and Ain’t It Cool News said it was “a spooky tale with a strong emotional core.” Here’s what Lightyear’s CEO had to say:

“We’re excited that fans across the U.S. and Canada will be able to see WE GO ON no matter where they live, now that it’s coming to home video,” said Arnie Holland.  “It’s the kind of movie that makes you think and compels you to watch again and again. The questions posed in the movie about our mortality and the afterlife are what we all think about at one time or another.”

Out April 4th!

I'm a regular contributing writer to this website. I got into horror movies through the sci-fi monster films I watched with my dad as a kid (ex. Aliens) and the extreme amounts of zombie movies I spent a good portion of my college career watching. I absolutely love zombies (obviously), am a sucker for a low budget (or any) monster movie, and adore horror-comedy films. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is one of my favorite books, and I'm still waiting for an actually decent film adaptation to bring that fantastic novel to life. Outside of my life as a horror fan, I'm a writer and editor with dreams of turning my screenplays into movies and a love of wine and murder mysteries.
