Dead Rising 2 Getting Special Edition Treatment

As mentioned before, Dead Rising 2 is hitting the Playstation 3 and XBox 360 on September 28th and Capcom has announced today that there will be a special collector’s edition for those willing to plunk down the $79.99.  SO…what does this special “Zombrex Edition” consist of?  Well, that depends on which system you are buying for.   There are a few variations based on your console of choice.

Here’s the low-down:

PS3 Dead Rising 2 – Zombrex Edition
–    Exclusive Two-Disc Steelbook case includes: 
–    Dead Rising 2 game disc
–    Blu-Ray Disc featuring a High-Definition 24 minute “Making of” featurette

  1. Oh man I’m def going for the special edition XBOX version. If you really factor in the regular price of the game (between 50 and 60 dollars depending where you get it) the extra clams are worth shelling out to get the extra tidbits. I just pre-ordered mine. Thanks for the post!
